Ductless Retrofit

The biggest challenge with this project was figuring out ways to handle player movement throughout a large virtual building. Each player was only going to be in the experience for up to 10 minutes, so we focused on setting up a familiar experience for people who hadn't experienced VR before. One of my favorite things about it was the navigation method that utilized blueprints for each floor of the building. When looking at a blueprint, the walls would extrude out of the print to help the user familiarize themselves in the 3D space. They would then pick up a little figure of themselves and drop it into the blueprint where they wanted to relocate to.

It was built in Unity 3D and ran on the HTC Vive.
